Walk-Throughs Walk-throughs: -Clients should discuss rates, payments, and other related administrative matters during their over-the-phone consultation with Home Sweet Home Pet Care of Windsor LLC office. Follow-up questions in this arena should always be addressed to Home Sweet Home Pet Care of Windsor LLC by phone or e-mail to the office. -Only the initial walk-through is free. All subsequent walk-throughs will be charged @ $20 per instance, per 15 minutes UNLESS it is required by Home Sweet Home Pet Care of Windsor LLC. Home Entry: -Clients must provide a reliable and secure entry to their home for Home Sweet Home Pet Care of Windsor LLC staff. Home Sweet Home Pet Care of Windsor LLC recommends utilizing a lockbox in order to ensure secure entry. If clients choose not to provide a lockbox with key and the alternate entry method fails (garage code or missing spare key) and Home Sweet Home Pet Care of Windsor LLC is unable to fulfill the visit, clients will be charged for the full visit. Communication Home Sweet Home Pet Care of Windsor LLC - to - Client: -HSH Pet Care will communicate any weather-related cancellation of the Daily Dog Walk Service via e-mail. Client - to - HSH: -Clients should schedule and cancel services via the following methods: 1. By logging into the client account portal on the Home Sweet Home Pet Care of Windsor LLC website 2. By sending an e-mail to the office staff if the client portal cannot be accessed. **Requests for service/cancellation should not be submitted over the phone and WILL NOT BE PROCESSED if they are.** Clients may reach general Home Sweet Home Pet Care of Windsor LLC support by: -Phone -E-mail Cancellations Daily Dog Walks: -Cancelled by 8 PM the night before – No Charge -Cancelled after 8 PM but before 8 AM the DAY OF service – 50% Charge. -Cancelled after 8 AM the DAY OF service – Full Charge. A La Carte Services: -Canceled more than 48 hours prior to service start date – No Charge -Canceled less than 48 hours from the service START date - Full Charge for any service that falls within the 48 hours. Inclement Weather: Home Sweet Home Pet Care of Windsor LLC cannot guarantee availability of Daily Dog Walk Services during inclement weather. Home Sweet Home Pet Care of Windsor LLC will notify dog walk clients of cancellations should weather conditions to be too dangerous for staff and dogs. No payment is expected when Home Sweet Home Pet Care of Windsor LLC is forced to cancel a walk. **On some occasions Home Sweet Home Pet Care of Windsor LLC will not cancel walks but may ask clients to voluntarily cancel at no charge if they are home.** **ONLY Daily Dog Walks have the potential of being canceled by Home Sweet Home Pet Care of Windsor LLC due to severe weather. Pet Care while clients travel will not be outright canceled by Home Sweet Home Pet Care of Windsor LLC though we may be limited by untenable driving conditions. Visits may be reduced and visit times adjusted to keep staff safe. We do require that an emergency contact (neighbor) who may assist with care be included on the client profile should conditions prove impassable.** Payment Payment Options: -Payments for Home Sweet Home Pet Care of Windsor LLC are only accepted via debit or credit card held on file with the secure software system. We do not accept checks or cash for payment. **We accept: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express** **Cash "tips" for staff are permitted, and tips can also be added to invoiced payments via credit card as well** Payment Schedule: -Services are invoiced and e-mailed to clients Fridays at 6 PM for visits occurring that week Monday through Sunday. **See “Cancellation” section for policy on charges** Safety Session Minimums: -For the safety and comfort of any CANINE in care, Home Sweet Home Pet Care of Windsor LLC must perform at least three visits per FULL 24 hours when clients travel. Bookend dates can be customized. -For the safety and comfort of any FELINE in care, Home Sweet Home Pet Care of Windsor LLC must perform at least one visit per 24 hours when clients travel. Coverage Extensions: -Clients who are traveling must keep in contact of any delays that result in requests for extended service. CLIENTS SHOULD NEVER REQUEST SERVICE THROUGH SITTERS. Only the Home Sweet Home Pet Care of Windsor LLC office staff can create and assign visits. Equipment: -Home Sweet Home Pet Care of Windsor LLC will not use retractable leashes while walking client dogs. -Home Sweet Home Pet Care of Windsor LLC reserves the right not to use any equipment it deems unsafe and will as a result either decline service or offer to use alternative equipment approved by Home Sweet Home Pet Care of Windsor LLC. Third Parties: -Home Sweet Home Pet Care of Windsor LLC cannot allow any third party to enter a client home, unless the client has authorized third party entry in advance. Furthermore, this will only apply to work UNRELATED to the nature of pet care. For liability reasons, Home Sweet Home Pet Care of Windsor LLC can be the ONLY party charged with care of a pet client during during and extended series of care sessions.
